ACCIDENT MANAGEMENT
5 Star Van Fleet views Accident Management as an extension of our Maintenance Management service. The same control mechanisms apply to vehicle body repairs as to general mechanical and component repairs.
In line with RMI (Retail Motor Industry Federation) quality standards and procedures, and in utilising their 1,200+ network of approved outlets, 5 Star Van Fleet will ensure that:
All vehicles are recovered and estimates provided
within an agreed timescale.
We will judge repair cost and vehicle downtime with equal consideration, before awarding the repair to any given body shop.
All repairs are progress chased on an automated basis thus minimising down-time as well as potential hire / replacement vehicle costs.

FUEL MANAGEMENT
In partnership with FastFuel, 5 Star Van Fleet provides access to a network of thousands of fuel outlets including all major chain, supermarket and motorway sites.
The cards are provided free of charge, and the clients charged pump price for all transactions.
In order to prevent unauthorised spending, purchases can be restricted, for example, to fuel and oil only.
For ease of use, cards can be made specific to vehicle and/or driver.
An advanced software interface between fuel card transaction reports and our fleet management system, allows 5 Star Van Fleet to provide the customer with a detailed analysis on items such as fuel expenditure, up-to-date vehicle mileages and fuel consumption.
