5 Star Vans supplies & fits accessories such as roof racks, tow bars, van ply lining kits, alarm systems and a vinyl sign writing service can all be purchased from us at any time making us your No.1 one-stop-shop for all your commercial needs.

5 Star Vans can assist you in deciding on the best car, 4x4 or van for your business needs. Whether you are a sole trader or government purchaser, your individual requirements will always come first. Why are 5 Star Vans so much cheaper than a main dealer?
We source our vehicles directly from the UK's manufacturers and also from major reputable dealers throughout the UK who have excess stock. Dealers receive a "back-end" bonus from the manufacturers only if they sell a set amount of vehicles per year. If they fail to achieve this target then they risk losing their bonus which could cost them tens of thousands of pounds. 5 Star Vans will take the excess stock and sell or lease the vehicles. We are cheaper than a main dealer because of the following:

1. We are not franchised to any one manufacturer so there is no need to pay for a franchise licence. This also allows our sales team to give unbiased opinions on all our vehicles.
2. All our stock is held at the main dealers or manufacturers holding / PDI areas throughout the UK, thus we do not require masses of land. Saving all the costs to store vehicles.
3. We don't have fancy showrooms, nor do we have expensive coffee machines, nor do we have loads of reception staff or admin staff and very expensive workshop staff.

All these savings are passed onto YOU!

How can I trust a company that I haven't met or dealt with in the past?
We at 5 Star Vans understand that to hand over a great deal of your hard earned cash to someone over the phone can be daunting (to say the least!). However, we have implemented the following procedures and protocols to ensure the process is made as safe and easy as possible for both the customer and for 5 Star Vans

1. No physical cash is taken - this ensures that all funds are traceable and can be audited in accordance with the Money Laundering Regulations 2003.
2. We accept the following payment methods which can be traced and accounted for by both the customer and 5 Star Vans:
3. BACS - Please allow 3 - 4 working days to clear
4. CHAPS (TT) - Normally instantly or next working day
5. Cheque - Please allow up to 10 working days to clear
6. Bankers Draft - Please allow 3 - 4 working days to clear
7. Credit Card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Business Cards) - When large amounts of money are taken through this method then payment into our account from the Merchant Services company (Lloyds TSB Cardnet) may take up to 5 working days, however, smaller amounts are next day. This allows security checks to take place to ensure fraud protection for both the customer and 5 Star Vans. Please be aware that for credit card payments a surcharge is made by the merchant services of 3%
8. Debit Card (Maestro, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Solo) - When large amounts of money are taken through this method then payment into our account from the Merchant Services company (Lloyds TSB Cardnet) may take up to 5 working days, however, smaller amounts are next day. This allows security checks to take place to ensure fraud protection for both the customer and 5 Star Vans. Please be aware that there is NO surcharge to use these cards
9. We have a client base that would be happy to recommend our services and you can assure that we are a legitimate, honest and reliable company to deal with. Please ask a sales advisor for further details
10. When you buy your new vehicle from us, the following procedure is implemented;
11. Customer details are recorded on an order form
12. Deposit taken from customer (min £500 or £1000 for a factory order)
13. Vehicle is secured for the customer
14. Vehicle invoice is issued to customer
15. Vehicle is Pre Delivery Inspected prior to delivery
16. Accessories fitted to vehicle, if required
17. Final balance is taken from customer or finance company, final invoice issued
18. Liase with customer and arrange a convenient date and time for delivery of vehicle
19. Once delivery has taken place the customer is contacted to ensure the vehicle is to their satisfaction. Any problems (e.g. any scratches, dents, etc) to be dealt with immediately
20. 5 Star Vans are a member of the Federation of Small Businesses and we can also arrange for our bank manager to contact you (where possible) to confirm our business activities

Where are we based?
We are based in South Wales, approximately 20 miles North of Cardiff, however, we deliver FREE of charge throughout the UK Mainland. If you live abroad then we will arrange delivery of your new vehicle to your desired UK airport or ferry port for you to collect.
